Even the best relationships can occasionally use a little spiffing up. A romantic weekend at the renovated Crowne Plaza Cleveland at Playhouse Square may be just the extra attention you need.

Completed in September, the hotel’s $6 million face-lift includes upgrades to the indoor pool area, lobby, fitness center and Ghostlight Restaurant and Lounge. With a New American menu, the new eatery serves lobster nachos ($13) and rich Margherita flatbreads ($12) with a side of convenience before you head out to one of the neighborhood’s 10 theaters.

Or stay in and enjoy the show — and maybe some chocolate strawberries, Champagne and rose petals — from one of 18 renovated suites ($175-$275 per night) that overlook the GE Chandelier.

“You look down and see all the twinkling lights,” says general manager Brian Moloney. “Being a boutique hotel, we pride ourselves on individualized service. If it’s reasonable, we would like to accommodate you.” 1260 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, 216-615-7500, ihg.com/crowneplaza

Before: Zen out at Yoga Strong’s Unwind class, where a combination of yin yoga, slow flows and deep stretching in a heated studio melts your stress away. $10 per class, 1104 Prospect Ave. E, Cleveland, 216-600-5566, yogastrongstudios.com
