The Go Red for Women Breakfast and Awareness Extravaganza turned the downtown Marriott red Feb. 2. More than 500 guests showed up to support research and educational programs aimed at educating women about heart disease. Dance Africa Dance gave guests a high-energy performance, Pen-E-Ventures presented a fiery fashion show and a keynote address by Plain Dealer columnist Connie Schultz motivated women to take control of their health. The event raised more than $300,000 for the American Heart Association. Cleveland Magazine was a sponsor of this event.
