There might not be a Dalmatian perched on its bow, but the Anthony J. Celebrezze, a 64-foot fireboat is a firefighting champ. Docked snugly along the west bank of the Cuyahoga River Fire Station No. 21, the boat is a long speck of bright red and white from a distance. Up close, it’s armed with five water guns on its deck and can pump water out of the river or Lake Erie to fight fires. “We haven’t had the industrial fires or the river fires they’ve had in the past,” says station captain Kevin Brady. “It’s been a while since it has been used.” 1801 Scranton Road, Cleveland, 216-664-6800
