Development | By Ken Prendergast, NEOTrans
Mega-redevelopment sites are emerging all around Downtown Cleveland. Another is getting added to the picture at the south end of the Campus District, once called the St. Vincent Quadrangle.
The Competition: It’s not getting noticed yet, not when it’s competing with those four large-lot, higher-profile waterfront mega-sites that can capitalize on the booming experiential economy.
The Next Decade: Proposed is a multimodal corridor along East 22nd Street, featuring a project called The Campus Trail, which has set an ambitious housing goal of building 1,000 new units in 10 years.

From the Editor
April showers bring May flowers, right? Luckily, we don't need to wait for blooms, since the fragrant cherry blossom trees around town are showing off their flowers right now. My favorite spot to see them is at Wade Lagoon, paired with a stop at the nearby Coffee House and the Cleveland Museum of Art. - Annie Nickoloff, Senior Editor
