The Winchester Music Hall: Bland on the outside, the Winchester has a small, front-room bar that acts as a lobby, welcoming patrons to the spacious concert venue in the back. The past: Since it opened in 2002, the Winchester has welcomed acts such as Michael Stanley, Alex Bevan and Nils Lofgren. What you get: For $249,000, the building, liquor license, sound system and stage lights are all included. "You could start playing shows here tomorrow," says owner Jim Mileti. First order of business: With its red ceiling and checkered tile floor, the decor suits the '70s and '80s performers it hosts. What to hold on to: Musicians rave about the sound quality and how the small stage provides an intimate feel.

The Harbor Inn Cafe: As one of the oldest operating bars in town, the wooden bar is stained with the blood, sweat and tears of Cleveland's hardest workers. The past: The dingy dive bar was Robert De Niro's hangout while he was in town filming The Deer Hunter. What you get: The $750,000 price tag includes the three-story building, liquor license, kitchen and die-hard customer base. First order of business: The building needs a serious renovation with the third floors mostly unused. What to hold on to: The nautical memorabilia and spirited history are both keepers. "Some of the [liquor] bottles aren't even made anymore," says owner Wally Pisorn. "They're antiques, almost as old as the bar itself."
