Rating the Suburbs: Water Craft

An attempt to better the environment is paying off for Cuyahoga Falls residents. In 2013, the Ohio Environmental Protective Agency and the city's engineering department removed the Sheraton Mill Dam and the LaFever Powerhouse Dam to help improve the water quality of the Cuyahoga River. Now, the river's water runs smoother and quicker, making it ideal for watersports and leisure. Thanks to an $116,000 grant from the Ohio Department of Natural Resources, the city is making its riverfront more user-friendly. Here's a look at the plans.
