Red Gerard has always repped Northeast Ohio, whether from the slopes as a pro in Colorado, where he now lives, or from the Olympic podium.

Now, the 25-year-old Westlake native, who is going for his second gold medal in the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games, is showing his love of Cleveland in an even bigger way with his first-ever pro model board.

The Red Gerard Pro prominently features Cleveland iconography. In the foreground sits one of the Guardians of Traffic statues, the iconic 43-foot-tall Art Deco sandstone sculptures that watch over Hope Memorial Bridge. Behind the figure is a map of Downtown Cleveland, with the Cuyahoga River cutting through the middle.

“Honestly, designing a pro model board is pretty tough, but putting Cleveland on there was an easy call,” says Gerard. “I love the city and Lake Erie. It is where I was born, where my family is from. I’m always going to rock with it.”

Released through the brand Arbor, only 200 copies of the board are available now, but a full run is slated for the fall. The board is a replication of the prototype on which Gerard won the 2025 X Games Slopestyle Gold Medal. He’s put it to the test with his backcountry mountain adventures, as documented in his 2019 movie JOY: A Snowboard Movie. The board also features Gerard’s signature bindings from Arbor.

“Red’s first Pro Model is a long-earned milestone that means as much to the snowboarding community as it does to him personally,” Arbor general manager Matt Patti said in a press release. “He’s inspired an entire generation through his style, creativity, and progression, and this board is built to celebrate that journey and the lasting mark he continues to leave on snowboarding.”

Gerard plans to ride this signature model into Italy this month. So, tune in and you just might see a little bit of Cleveland flying by as Gerard catches some big air.
