Road's Ransom

One important point that "The Road" (February 2014) glosses over is that $350 million is a lot of money, especially at a time of massive federal debt and fiscal hardship for state and local governments.

Moving Forward

I read " 'We've Got Big Plans' " (February 2014) slowly. The experience was even better than I could have imagined. Every quote, every nod of Nick Walczak's head, every move or look from Turner was perfectly placed to project a picture, to make the reader feel both the pain and pride exhibited by Nick.

I hardly take the time to read articles while at work. However, the article about Nick Walczak made me pause. I found myself lost in the story — chuckling, smiling, crying. This young man is the most incredible person. His relationship with Turner is amazing. I wish him the best.
