Following a two-week trip to the British Virgin Islands earlier this winter, WGAR morning-show host Jim Mantel returned to find his office made over with a feminine flair. Seems Michelle Maloney, Mantel's co-host and officemate for the past 10 months, had grown tired of the white walls, Viagra clock and stuffed moose head staring at her. She replaced it all with a manly nightmare of hot-pink walls, fuzzy throw rugs, a white wicker vanity and, worst of all, romance novels. The Viagra clock was nowhere in sight and even the 18-year-old moose head got a makeover. "I managed to keep the profanity to a minimum," Mantel says. "It was pretty doggone funny." Though Mantel says he would rather lose a limb than redecorate, he's already plotting revenge. "At some point, Michelle has to go on vacation," he says. "She may come back and find it in a camo' motif."
