We’re all about food trucks and jamming along to bands during Cleveland Metroparks’ popular Edgewater Live series.

But for those other lazy days of summer, you’ll find us heading back to Edgewater Park to nab a spot along the beach for some water, sun and relaxation.

Inside the new Edgewater Nature Shop, guests can rent large umbrellas and chairs for $5 an item or even stand-up paddleboards for $20 per hour.

The two-story, $4.5 million Beach House, which opened last year, also sells food and drinks from local spots such as Honey Hut Ice Cream and Fat Head’s Brewery & Saloon.

“We’ve really been listening to the community and how they want to use the beach and access the lakefront,” says chief marketing officer Kelly Manderfield.
