Your Cedar Point bucket list is about to spilleth over. The completely redesigned, 18-acre Cedar Point Shores Water Park offers gallons of fun for adults and kids with four new water attractions, expanded food and shopping areas, and more.

Portside Plunge: At five stories tall, this tube slide drops you down and around quick turns. “You travel through an enclosed tunnel for the first part of it,” says Tony Clark, director of communications. “Then it shoots out, and you go down the hill.”

Point Plummet: If you have the guts, this slide has you enter a personal pod where a countdown begins before the floor drops. “You’re going to go in a nearly vertical free-fall through 1,400-foot slides,” says Clark.

Lakeslide Landing: Made for families, this area features 12 kiddie slides that spill into a zero-depth entry pool. It also pays homage to the mythical Lake Erie monster with a play structure featuring water geysers. 1 Cedar Point Drive, Sandusky, 419-627-2350, cedarpoint.com
