It was dad who taught us about baseball's magic. A game of catch was good; a trip to the ballpark was better. We learned to love the smell of the grass, thebeauty of the double play, the tasteof cold beer on a summer afternoon(we may have learned that last onelater). Of course, Jacobs Field is one of the modern baseball palaces, but we know the gamer in youscreams "road trip!" too. So, when we learned an Indianapolis baseball fanatic has set up five different baseball tours and that one involved the Tribe, we took note. So, if you're still at a loss for Father's Day gift ideas, you could always take dad to catch three consecutive Detroit Tigers games that bring the Tribe and the Yankees to Comerica Park in late August (packages startat $835 per person and include tickets ,hotel and face-time with former Tiger Willie Horton). It'll tell dad, Yeah, I get it. Baseball is king.
