Terrestrial Brewing Co. Launches Animal-Inspired Brews

Become a real party animal with Terrestrial Brewing Co. as they embark on a one-year partnership with the Cleveland Zoological Society.

In a six brew animal-inspired series, set to be uncaged throughout the year, Terrestrial taps into a love of wildlife.

“We got to go behind the scenes and talk with the handlers and people that are conducting research,” says Ralph Sgro, co-founder of Terrestrial Brewing Co.

From this came brews such as the Probiotic Warrior, a kettle sour brew made with honey and probiotics currently on tap to highlight the gut fermentation and health of orangutans and sloth bears.

Look for the next in the series, a giraffe-inspired brew, to debut May 15 during the Tails & Cocktails speaker series at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo.
