Grab a tray and get in line. Eating cafeteria-style at theMarket Café and Wine Bar makes us want to remember our lunch money. And unlike high school, the possibilities here are endless. Want a quesadilla? The cooks will grill one up for you. Craving a slice of pizza? The oven regularly churns out pepperoni and daily specials such as a white pizza with spinach, mushrooms, red onions and tomatoes. There’s even a wide variety of fresh paninis (try the broccoli, zucchini and squash with cauliflower spread), made-to-order salads, seasonal soups, burgers, kebabs, gourmet pasta and potato salads — and almost all are produced with local ingredients. Mean lunch ladies and mystery meat? Not here. This is the new school of food. 1801 E. Ninth St., Cleveland; (216) 394-0124; themarketcafeandwinebar.com
