PlayhouseSquare has a reputation to uphold. Saddled with its Second Largest Performing Arts District in the Nation moniker, our theater district delivers first-rate Broadway plays and fantastic guests (we were particularly enamored of Bob Saget and David Sedaris). But it doesn’t stop there. The crown jewel of PlayhouseSquare is its lunchtime free-for-all, Summer on Star Plaza. Between noon and 2 p.m. each workday, there’s Ikea-style furniture, board games and a huge video screen playing Seinfield, The Simpsons, The Office and more (including Indians day games). Plus, musicians rock through their sets, Sparx in the City performers … perform, and radio stations hand out free food. That’s right: free food, free games and your favorite sitcoms, and all you have to do is sneak away from the office for a half hour. East 14th Street and Euclid Avenue, Cleveland
