Any place serving wings worth mentioning has several levels of hot. Certainly Pounders Bar complies (hot, stupid hot, frickin’ sick hot, hot wasabi). And a few places even have some specialty sauces, usually some kind of a sweet variation on barbecue. Well, Pounders puts wind beneath the alternative wing with more than 100 flavors, including chili lime, Indian, Italian, cheddar cheesy buffalo, Thai peanut sauce, Jim Beam BBQ, amaretto, Pucker Candy Apple and pineapple salsa. Don’t let its strip-mall location deter you. You’ll see lots of regulars playing bar bowling, shooting pool or shooting the breeze around the wraparound bar. Oh, and it’s cheap. On Thursdays you’ll get 30-cent wings until 9 p.m., and on Sundays you can get an all-you-can-eat meal for $5.50 while sipping $1 drafts during the Browns game. 6370 York Road, Parma Heights; (440) 887-0185
