As the new-look Cleveland Browns kick off the 2016 season, we throw a few crazy this-is-our-year predictions into the Lake Erie winds.

Sept. 11
@ Philadelphia Eagles
It’s a battle of Republican National Convention host city vs. Democratic National Convention host city (Round 1 to us). PREDICTION: Quarterback Robert Griffin III looks like his rookie-of-the-year version, who whooped the Eagles twice in 2012. After 17 years, the Dawgs finally have a franchise QB.
Browns win 28-7

Sept. 18
vs. Baltimore Ravens
The matchup has fresh energy after ESPN’s Believeland reopened old Art Modell wounds by reminding us of the Move. PREDICTION: The Browns summon strength from the fans and clip the Ravens’ wings. With everything looking up at 2-0, we start making bets on the team’s 200-1 odds to win it all.
Browns win 27-24 in overtime

Sept. 25
@ Miami Dolphins
In a tussle of first-year head coaches, Miami’s Adam Gase bests Hue Jackson — thanks to RGIII’s five interceptions — and the Dolphins’ Ryan Tannehill moves to 5-1 against QBs drafted alongside him in 2012. PREDICTION: In a post-game interview, Tannehill reminds fans LeBron James won his first titles in Miami.
Browns lose 17-3
