This Chinese bakery offers 26 flavors of bubble tea from spiced chai and almond to fruitier takes such as pomegranate, peach, and banana that use fruit pearls in place of tapioca ones. “People like a lot of flavors,” says co-owner Jianj Xu. “We sell a lot of flavors because the customers like what they like.”

Each mornng, co-owner Johnny Tsou buys organic and raw ingredients such as strawberries and watermelon for the 3-year-old hot spot’s 10 flavors of bubble tea. Everything is fresh and natural from the subtly sweet honeydew to the organic dark roast coffee beans. “That’s how we create a healthy, tasty and good-flavored bubble tea,” says Tsou.

The wait staff makes each batch to order by boiling tapioca pearls for 10 minutes before adding them to four traditional flavors: green tea, jasmine, black tea and taro — a sweet potato-like favorite. “Customers really like our bubble tea,” says server John Huang. “If we are out of it temporarily, people get upset.”
