Jan. 20, 2015 | 5:00 AM

Ann Emmons, 29

Physician & Researcher

How she caught our eye: A doctor equally at home in the lab or treating patients, she's a recent transplant from Arkansas who loves karaoke and The X-Files.

Hidden talent: I play a lot of musical instruments. I have all the makings of a band at home. I also paint a lot, and I can cook pretty well.

Biggest fear: Heights.

My bad habit: I have a pretty bad habit for Sunday brunch.

My guilty pleasure: Ice cream.

You'd never guess: I'm really athletic. I've always loved playing sports like field hockey, swimming and football.

I can't live without: Music.

My hero: My parents. My dad dedicated his life to helping people. My mom is super kind as well. I hope I can be too.

On my bucket list: Hang gliding over the ocean or some body of water.

Biggest accomplishment: Becoming a doctor.

When I'm not working: I really like karaoke. I even have my own karaoke machine so I can practice at home.

Find me here on a Saturday night: Butcher and the Brewer on East Fourth.

If I had one wish: I wish people would just get along with each other.

Once-in-a-lifetime moment: Snorkeling off Culebra, an island in Puerto Rico. I camped right on the beach and just woke up and went snorkeling. It was pretty amazing.

If I won the Mega Millions, I'd spend it on: Buy a boat, maybe an island, donate the rest of it to research or people who need it.

My No. 1 dating rule: Just be yourself and have fun.

Deal-breakers: Not being physically active, like going to the gym or playing sports, is a deal-breaker for me.

The perfect date: The perfect date in the winter would be going to the art museum and ice-skating, then L'Albatros and a movie.

I'm a sucker for: Someone who is really caring toward people they don't even know.

Most romantic thing I've ever done: I made food and had a surprise picnic by the lake.

What I look for in a significant other: It's important to be my friend too.

I always, sometimes or never make the first move: Sometimes.

Would you like to be famous?: I would like to be famous for curing cancer.

Do you rehearse what you're going to say before making a phone call?: No because you never know the situation. It's hard to rehearse.

Last time I sang to myself: I pretty much sing all the time. Last time I sang to someone else: Probably a week ago at karaoke.

If I could gain one quality or ability, it would be: I would want the ability to fly, which is kind of weird because I'm afraid of heights.

I wish I had someone with whom I could share ... : everything with.

Celebrity dream date: Prince Harry because of his amazing facial expressions.

Celebrity look-alike: I really don't have one.

Dogs or cats: Neither, I would get a sugar glider. They're like a small flying squirrel. They're adorable.

Beach or mountains: Well I would choose a beach that is right next to a mountain.

Signature dish: I make really good spaghetti sauce. That's probably because I'm Italian.

How I stay healthy: I'm really active. I workout a lot and I love hiking.

My favorite ... book: The Alchemist. ... TV show: The X-Files is my all-time favorite, but right now I really like Game of Thrones. ... movie: Jurassic Park. ... music: I love all music, anything from Johnny Cash to MGMT to Sam Smith. ... restaurant: XO and Barrio ... app: The weather app. You can see the weather all over the world and be like, Oh, I wish I was there!

What I'm reading: Gastroenterology.

IPod embarrassment: '90s dance music.

I'm so over: I don't really get sick of things.

Dream job: I have my dream job.

Dream vacation: Maldives, the islands in the Indian Ocean. They have this underwater motorcycle thing that drags you around underwater. It looks so cool.

My take on Cleveland's single scene: It's hard to meet people because I'm busy with work, but everyone is really friendly. People are always talking to me and trying to make friends. I am still single though, so that says something.

Are you on tinder?: Yes, only because my sister made me, but I'm getting off because it's ridiculous.

Best thing about being single: I collect hobbies, so the best thing about being single is that I get to try new things.

Worst thing about being single: It would be nice to do my hobbies with someone else.

Best date I've been on: We did something active. We ran around the park, and then just chilled and watched movies.

Worst date I've been on: A blind date because the person was nothing like the way they presented themselves to be when I talked to them before the date.

Do you hope to settle down in the next five years?: Yes, if I find the right person.
