Where Are They Now: Jen (Schefft) Waterman

Jen Schefft made The Bachelor and The Bachelorette history when she broke off an engagement to bachelor Andrew Firestone and turned down the proposal when it was her turn as the bachelorette. Now, the only thing she is turning down is cookie requests from her daughters, Mae and Charlotte. After leaving reality TV behind, she married Joe Waterman, who she met on a blind date, in 2009. The couple lived in Chicago for seven years, but returned to Northeast Ohio a few months ago. Now the Mentor native is focused on raising her family. “It was fun to be in the spotlight, but it was also very challenging in that I hated hearing what other people had to say about me,” says the 41-year-old.
