Young Professionals Week: Three Events We Love
by Joscelyn Ervin | Jun. 19, 2019 | 12:00 PM

Get down to business this month with Engage Cleveland’s Young Professionals Week June 22-29. From morning workouts to brewery tours, you’ll find a professional event that embraces your style of summer fun. Here are the three meetups we’re excited for.
Rooftop Yoga
Like a mantra, the popular Rooftop Yoga zen session is back for another round. With a bird’s-eye view of downtown from the roof of Tremont Athletic Club, the 75-minute beginners’ yoga session focused on stretching, breathing and relaxation is the perfect Saturday morning kickoff to get you mentally prepared for the rest of Cleveland Young Professionals Week. $10, June 22, 10-11:15 a.m., Tremont Athletic Club, 2306 W. 17th St., Cleveland
Wine Tasting
Professionals happy hour — just way elevated. With sips from M Cellars Winery and bites from Great Lakes Cheese, this four-part evening wine and cheese tasting teaches wine’s five basic tastes and how they affect flavor and texture. “We’re bringing Geneva, Ohio, wine country to Cleveland for one night,” says Engage Cleveland president Ashley Basile Oeken. $30, June 25, 5:30-7:30 p.m., Skylight Financial Group Penthouse, 2012 W. 25th St., Cleveland
A Home Run For Cleveland: Scoring the All-Star Game
Just two weeks before the Midsummer Classic brings all of Major League Baseball to town, Cleveland Indians CEO Paul Dolan, executive business vice president Dennis Lehman and Destination Cleveland president and CEO David Gilbert show what it takes to knock the premier sporting event of the summer out of the park. “It’s been a long time since Cleveland has had anything of that nature,” says Basile Oeken. $20, June 27, noon-1:30 p.m., House of Blues, 308 Euclid Ave., Cleveland
