Sure, you’ve probably been axe throwing at one of several spots that have popped up around Northeast Ohio in the past few years. But Savage Society Axe Throwing in Amherst puts a spin on the popular entertainment activity by offering up its mobile axe throwing trailer ($450 for two hours).
Perfect for parties, fundraisers and corporate events, the trailer has a safe, contained axe-throwing lane with two targets on it.
“We take it to carnivals, festivals, graduation parties, backyard barbecues,” says owner Amanda Trowbridge.
An axe coach will also be on site to teach participants 12 years and older how to throw an axe.
“If guests just want to let their friends throw, we’ll do it that way,” says Trowbridge “Or we can be more interactive to where we kind of play different games with them or we’ll create a bracket.” 1937 Cooper Foster Park Road, Amherst, 440-308-7715, savageaxecle.com
