Jenny Goe has loved horror flicks since she was a kid. Scary movie icons such as Wolfman and Nosferatu made their way into the local artisan and In the 216 shop owner's Jewelry by Jenny collection, as does a spooky pendant necklace ($15) of Lake View Cemetery's eerie statue of the Haserot Angel. To make each ghostly piece, Goe glazes an image of the figure known as "Angel of Death Victorious" onto resin and attaches a 24-inch rolo chain in bronze, gunmetal, copper or silver plate. The scariest part is hoping the resin sets without anything getting onto it. Goe makes 60 necklaces at a time, casting aside any that end up with the occasional dog hair or dust particle, so nothing distracts from the beauty of the haunting figure. "She's a very fascinating character," Goe says. "People go and have picnics in front of her. There are people who come from other states to see her." 1854 Coventry Road, Cleveland Heights, 216-862-4830, etsy.com/shop/jenscoobysnacks
