Nearly 40 years after the release of A Christmas Story, Peter Billingsley is set to reprise the role of Ralphie Parker in A Christmas Story Christmas, set to release on Nov. 17 on HBO Max.
The streaming service shared a teaser for the new movie on YouTube on Monday, featuring just 42 seconds of the film and teasing iconic lines from the original: "Fra-gee-lay... it must be Italian" and "Oh, fudge."
You'll spot a bit of Cleveland in the teaser, too, when the Christmas Story House, located at 3159 W. 11th St. in Cleveland's Tremont neighborhood, shows up for a few moments. Though the first A Christmas Story movie was filmed in Cleveland, sadly the sequel was filmed in Hungary, according to a Variety report — but at least the house seems to make some sort of appearance in the new movie.
Billingsley will join fellow cast members from the first film in 2022's follow-up, including Ian Petrella as Randy Parker, Zack Ward as Officer Scut Farkas and Scott Schwartz as Flick, according to the film's IMDB page.
