Like Family
I think Lago ("Food for Famiglia," September 2014) has some of the best food in Cleveland. Nicole and Fabio Salerno always make sure they make the rounds and talk to everyone who is dining and drinking. They have wonderful, sincere personalities that will take them far. I have attended many functions on their veranda, and every single event has been fantastic. Great food. Great atmosphere. Congratulations Salernos!

I still don't understand the dismay expressed by a few readers regarding August's "How Gay Are We?" cover. I'm very proud of the job our city and Akron did in hosting Gay Games 9. Your cover and respective articles reflected a significant event in Northeast Ohio. The concern expressed by these readers only proves there is still much progress to be made. I hope you continue to write about those topics, even if some people feel they are too controversial — especially when they shouldn't be. Great job!
