Sometimes we want to rep the Cleveland Browns without looking like we came straight from the Muni Lot. Skip the team shop and head to Emily Roggenburk’s shop for a fresh take on your favorite team’s (or city’s) apparel. Stocked with Cleveland-themed T-shirts and other apparel, featuring phrases like “The Land” and “Cleveland AF” in local team colors and more, the line is designed to easily integrate into your closet.
“We keep things really classic and neutral so you can wear them all the time and not just at sporting events,” says Roggenburk, who designs and (mostly) prints the clothes. That aesthetic extends to the minimalist decor of her sunny Crocker Park shop, which allows the clothes — mostly geared toward women — to take the spotlight. The store evolved from aerial photos she took of the 2016 Cavs parade from a rented helicopter. She quit her day job at American Greetings, started selling her photos (which decorate the walls of the shop), and, energized by the sense of camaraderie the day inspired, added apparel.
She’s since expanded to hoodies and tees with customizable sayings and repurposed one-off designs. “It all centers from bringing people together,” she says. “It started with a day where so many people put aside their differences and all celebrated this common thing. Since then, that’s what I try to do in all of my apparel.”
An Item We Love: Perfect for remote working, the Cleveland tank and sweat set ($40) features a cozy cropped tank and sweatpants with one of Roggenburk’s signature designs.
