For those stranger than fiction and faster than lightning, this one’s for you. Brevity and Literary Cleveland are hosting a Flash Nonfiction Festival for the first time this November. Making Home: A Refugee and Immigrant Art Exhibition at Current Gallery
The bold colors and heavy atmosphere of anticipation is laden upon the shoulders of Augusto Bordelois’ Leaving Home an Autumn Morning. Bordelois, an immigrant from Cuba, is one of ten artists featured at Current Gallery during November, and visitors will get a chance to connect with them at an artist panel this weekend. Ray Flanagan’s 29th Birthday Bash at The Winchester Music Tavern

Revealing Krishna: Journey to Cambodia’s Sacred Mountain at the Cleveland Museum of Art
The gods of Phnom Da are reuniting this Sunday at the Cleveland Museum of Art for an overdue meeting. Guests will travel three continents over the course of 15 centuries without leaving the museum in this immersive, reality-hybrid gallery model by HoloLens to discover the epic story behind Krishna Lifting Mount Govardhan, a 1,500-year-old Cambodian sculpture of a Hindu god in the act of preserving his people. "Pictures at an Exhibition" at Severance
Art is an act of love that transcends death. After the passing of painter Viktor Hartmann, Mussorgsky grieved and paid tribute to his friend in musical memorial, "Pictures at an Exhibition." The piece explores a musical interpretation of Hartmann's work of fantasy — medieval castles, French markets and hatching chicks.
