There’s always something new to listen to in Northeast Ohio.

We feature a snippet of the local music scene in our Cleveland Current Spotify playlist, updated every month with a new mix of tunes.

Not every local musician uses Spotify. Be sure to hear, on Bandcamp, Ray Flanagan's journey of an album, My Mind Is Burning Up, the singer-songwriter's first vinyl album release, along with Noah Foutz's full indie EP The Ruins of Autumn (a snippet of which you'll hear in this month's Spotify playlist).

Speaking of that Spotify playlist, in April, you'll hear:

  • Apostle Jones' soulful album Second Chances Don’t Come Easy

  • Bibby Bankz's lush pop single "Get It Right"

  • Cereal Banter’s frenetic album Punk Opaque

  • Girl Cologne’s grungey single “Subtweet”

  • Hooked Like Helen’s dramatic rock single “Lend Me Your Ear”

  • Kiss Me Deadly’s groovy single “Hootenanny”

  • Marottes’ gothy synth song “Midnight Reverie”

  • The Monday Program’s collaborative album Home Room

  • Rob Nor’s uplifting hip-hop album Dark Like Velvet

  • Zach Angeloni’s forthcoming indie-folk album Lottery Crowd

Listen to the playlist below, and follow Cleveland Magazine on Spotify for more music.
