The Cleveland Museum of Art is offering Sensory-Friendly Saturdays on every third Saturday of the month from Jan. 20 to Dec. 21 for guests with sensory differences and those on the autism spectrum. Guests will have the opportunity to visit the museum one hour earlier than its usual opening time with softer lighting and reduced microphone usage, as well as trained staff that can help with recognizing sensory overload. Recently certified by KultureCity, the museum will be offering special sensory bags containing fidget toys, noise-canceling headphones and verbal cue cards if guests need them.
