Find your balance with this all-levels yoga class hosted by Firehouse Yoga. Along with many of their other classes, this session will be streamed online via Zoom after you pre-register, so all you need is your yoga mat and an internet connection. The class will feature easy-to-do poses that can be done from the comfort of your living room, but also provide a much-needed stretch and light workout. Celebrate Arbor Day with Cleveland Tree Coalition
In the effort of spreading information about sustainability through tree growing, the Cleveland Tree Coalition has teamed up with other local organizations to create a series of interactive events to celebrate Arbor Day this year. After a full week of videos, workshops and speeches, they’re closing things out with a number of different resources and virtual events. In collaboration with the Cleveland Public Library, tune in Friday for a book reading of Tree Lady. On Saturday, join a video Q&A session with a local arborist. In addition to other events, the Holden Forests & Gardens will also be releasing their Tree Care Kit online to give you all the information you need to plant and care for a tree of your own. Virtual Kids Night
Chances are, your kids have a lot of pent up energy that they need to let out. Luckily, local martial arts studio Horizon ATA is hosting a virtual event that will get the little ones moving and grooving with different activities and exercises that are inspired by martial arts moves. This 90-minute Zoom event is for kids ages 4 and up, and will feature high-energy karate games that combine kicking, punching, dancing and more.
