Donut Worry Run Happy
Get moving this Sunday during an in-person 5K organized by Hermes Road Racing and in collaboration with Brewnuts. The race, which takes place at Edgewater Park, comes with a custom race shirt, finisher medal and a complimentary doughnut coupon for Brewnuts. A virtual run is also available for those wanting to run in their neighborhood and share their results. Halloween Whodunnit at Holden Forests & Gardens
This weekend is your last chance to catch a fun, fall-themed scavenger hunt at Holden Arboretum. Visitors will take on the roles of detectives to help solve a special Halloween Whodunnit, following the trail to find clues, as outlined in the special comic booklet each kid detective will receive. Iconic: Baron Wolman Images of an Era at the Rock Hall
Transport yourself to some of history’s greatest performances through the lens of someone who was there. The latest exhibit at the Rock Hall features a series of iconic snapshots of legendary concerts by Rolling Stone’s first chief photographer Baron Wolman. Opening Oct. 18, the exhibit includes powerful images of artists such as Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix and others. In addition to Wolman’s work on display, the exhibit will also include one of the photographer’s Nikon cameras that he used. Pinecrest Fall Concert Series
Listen to local Bon Jovi tribute band Wanted rock out to tunes such as “Livin’ On A Prayer” and “You Give Love A Bad Name” during Pinecrest Fall Concert Series. The Friday event, which costs $20, features a ticket for a 10-by-10-foot space for you and your group to set up with folding chairs, blankets and tables. Food from local Pinecrest eateries such as Saucy Brew Works, Condado and Shake Shack will be available. Sarah Curry: Underestimated at Hedge Gallery
