Providence House

No parent should have to fear for their child’s safety or face losing custody because of job loss, unsafe housing, mental health or medical care needs. We’ve kept more than 20,000 children safe in our crisis nurseries while guiding parents through their crises. During their children’s stay with us, our licensed social workers embrace parents with support services to create a stronger foundation for their family’s future. We’re proud to share that for the last 16 years, 99% of Providence House families resolved their crises and welcomed their children back home.

As a local nonprofit, we are nearly 80% privately funded and rely on the generous support of our community to fulfill our mission at no cost to our families.
