Q: What are the benefits of starting at community college?

A: “We have one of the lowest tuitions in the state of Ohio,” says Karen Miller, interim provost and executive vice president at Cuyahoga Community College. “It’s right here in everybody’s backyard. Students are going to get a quality college-level education with transfer opportunities. There are hundreds of opportunities to transfer both within the state, definitely at the state colleges and to the majority of the private four-year colleges. We have articulation agreements with almost everybody inside Ohio. We have scholarship opportunities with many inside Ohio and then many partnerships with colleges outside of Ohio for transfer and scholarship.”
