Hearty enough to hold up under almond butter and bananas, this whole grain toast was perfected with a dash of cinnamon and swirl of agave. Rush Inn’s Buffalo Chicken Mac ‘n’ Cheese ($15)
The ultimate comfort food, this hefty plate of mac and cheese is covered in bacon bits and fried chicken and drizzled with buffalo sauce. Ohio City Burrito's Brother’s Burrito ($9)
There’s a reason Ohio City Burrito is a Cleveland staple. That reason is the Brother’s Burrito. I decked mine out with chorizo, refried beans, pico de gallo and extra cheese. Ohio Pie Co.’s Fried Pickle Pie ($11-$21)
Ohio-style pizza is like Detroit-style but with the flavor profile flipped thanks to a bottom layer of cheese and a light drizzle of sauce.
