Sure, it may be cold outside and the trees we’ve stared at from our work-from-home offices are now bare, but you can create a lush, green landscape inside your home with a host of houseplants.
Celebrate the beauty of snake plants, monsteras and others during National Houseplant Day Jan. 10 with a stop by one of Bremec Garden Center’s four locations. With a selection of up to 50 different varieties of suculents and more than 3,000 plants, you’re bound to find something that speaks to you. “[Plants] just give you that calming, back-to-nature feel,” says Katie Spitler, grower at Bremec Garden Center’s Chesterland location.
First-time plant parents can opt for easygoing sansevieria or jade plants, while plant pros can branch out with hoyas or philodendrons. “They’re kind of really interesting,” says Spitler. “They’ll vine a little bit, so you can have it in a hanging basket if you chose.” Various locations,
