The prized (pasta) possessions from Poland have found their way onto Cleveland plates and into Cleveland hearts. We celebrate the Eastern European delicacy with 25 spots that honor the traditional half-circles of happiness, from the sauteed grandma-approved classics at Sokolowski's University Inn to Lola's upscale beef cheek version, that'll make you swoon.

A. Smith's Restaurant's Pierogi Bowl — The Burton spot puts a little twist on the familiar classic with a rotating list of seasonal toppings.
 
Lola's Beef Cheek Pierogi — The East Fourth Street bistro still delivers one of the best and meatiest 'rogi in town.

Pierogi Palace's Bourbon Chicken Pierogi — The West 25th spot gives the pasta purse a Southern cuisine twist.

Olesia's Place's Pierogies Sampler — From portobello mushrooms to bacon, you get to try all best toppings with this sampler.

The Little Polish Diner's Parma Mix Plate — Simply named "a plate," this variety dish of pillowy puffs feature cottage cheese, cabbage and more.

Market Garden Brewery's Pierogies and Chorizo — Eastern European fare goes south of the border with the West 25th brewery's smoked chorizo stuffed pierogi.

100th Bomb Group's Short Rib Pierogies — This short rib-stuffed 'rogi on Brookpark Road is like an Eastern European empanada.

Jukebox's Buffalo Chickpea Pierogi — The Hingetown bar delivers a delicious, vegan kick in its house-made pierogi.

Bold Food & Drink's Cheddar Pierogies with Spicy Espelette Shrimp Corn Cruda — This Cleveland eatery puts a Latin seafood spin on the Eastern European classic.
