One brick at a time, Lego has been influencing the toy world for 60 years. When Greyson Beights founded BrickUniverse, a nationally touring Lego convention, in 2015, his goal was to inspire the next generation. “In every city, we always have a few architects and engineers tell us, ‘[Lego] is why I’m doing what I do today,’ ” Beights says. On Sept. 8 and 9, thousands of future builders are expected to visit the Ultimate Lego Fan Experience at the Huntington Convention Center, where Streetsboro builder Todd Wolf’s model of Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens will be on display.
