Frank Lloyd Wright in Michigan

From the innovative concrete columns of the Johnson Wax Administration Building in Racine, Wis., to Manhattan's spiraling Guggenheim Museum, the creative genius of Frank Lloyd Wright is second to none — so much so that The American Institute of Architects hailed him as "the greatest American architect of all time." Through Jan. 6, the Grand Rapids Art Museum focuses on the life of this esteemed designer with a series of lectures about his work in Michigan and an exhibit spotlighting 50 of his famous leaded-glass windows. There will even be Sunday afternoon cooking demonstrations of dishes patterned after Wright's structures. The museum is located at 155 Division North. Philadelphia Sound

Rhythm-and-blues legend Lou Rawls brings the music of the Stylistics, O'Jays, and Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes to Philadelphia's Prince Theater in the world premiere of "Me and Mrs. Jones." The musical features 45 hits from the 1970s — including "Could It Be I'm Falling in Love," "If You Don't Know Me by Now" and "Lady Love." Show time is 8 p.m. Nov. 3 through Dec. 9. Tickets, which range in price from $25 to $45, are available at the theater, 1412 Chestnut St., or by calling (215) 569-9700.

Go Tigers, Go!

Massillon, Ohio, is serious about football. And no wonder. For more than 60 years, the town's high school team, the Tigers, has served as a hotbed for talent, producing such collegiate and pro stars as Jim Houston and Chris Spielman. Through Nov. 25, the Massillon Museum pays homage to the team's winning ways with "Sacred Turf." The exhibit highlights Massillon football through photographs, videos and uniforms. Artifacts include replays of down-to-the-wire contests with the archrival Canton McKinley Bulldogs; and playbooks compiled by the late Paul Brown, who coached the Tigers to six straight championships in the 1930s and early '40s. The museum is located at 121 Lincoln Way East. Hours are Tuesday through Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday 2 to 5 p.m. Admission is free. Call (330) 833-4061.
