These are the three street fests you shouldn’t miss.

Lakewood Summer Meltdown

Cool off from the summer heat in the Water Moose sprinkler park or run an evening 5K at LakewoodAlive’s annual street fest. But things are sure to heat right back up when local alternative rock band Front Porch Lights hits the headliner’s stage. More than 100 tents showcase regional businesses and nonprofits, and exercise demonstrations, local bites and sips, a skateboard park and more help celebrate a decade of this downtown Lakewood bash.

July 13, 4-10 p.m., 14701 Detroit Ave., Lakewood, 216-521-0655, lakewoodalive.org

Painesville Party In The Park

Billed as Ohio’s largest free music festival, the 40th annual event brings more than 30 live acts to two stages at Veterans Park in downtown Painesville. The lineup includes national touring acts and local live bands such as singer-songwriter Alex Bevan, reggae act Carlos Jones and the P.L.U.S Band and The Armstrong Bearcat Band.

July 19 11 a.m.-midnight, July 20 noon-midnight, July 21 8:30 a.m.-midnight, 56 S. Park Place, Painesville, painesvilleimprovement.com

Taste of Tremont

From Ushabu’s Asian culinary excursions to the late-night slices at Edison’s Pub, Cleveland’s artsy West Side enclave is defined by its trendsetting bites, sips, culture and nightlife. When the neighborhood’s best take over Professor Avenue during this 16th annual street festival, it makes for the year’s best Sunday Funday.

July 21, noon-8 p.m., 2406 Professor Ave., Cleveland, experiencetremont.com
