On an upcoming tour, Kid Cudi will make a hometown stop.

The musician is set to headline Blossom Music Center on the recently announced "Rebel Ragers" tour. Cudi will perform with openers M.I.A., Big Boi and A-Trak on Friday, May 15.

Kid Cudi — aka, Scott Mescudi — grew up in Cleveland and Shaker Heights and started rapping while attending Shaker Heights High School. After moving to New York City, Mescudi released 2008's acclaimed mixtape A Kid Named Cudi, followed by 2009's full-length album Man on the Moon: The End of Day. Since then, Mescudi has released 10 total albums, including Free last year.

The musician has long dabbled in various art forms, including acting — you might recognize appearances in films like Bill & Ted Face the Music, Don't Look Up and X. Mescudi also wrote and published a memoir last year.

Tickets to the concert go on sale to the general public on Friday, with presales beginning on Tuesday. One dollar of each ticket sale will benefit The Big Bro Foundation, an organization which uplifts and empowers children experiencing mental health challenges, according to a news release.
