Before the days of reclining leather movie theater seats and IMAX screens, there were drive-in theaters, whose stock skyrocketed this week when they became the hottest ticket in town. Here are three drive-ins in Northeast Ohio that are open for business and ready to give you some fun from a safe distance.

Aut-O-Rama Twin Drive-In Theatre
While one of the North Ridgeville theater’s two screens is playing a double feature of Trolls World Tour and Dolittle, we can’t wait to catch Will Smith and Martin Lawrence team up again in Bad Boys for Life. The film has the highest Rotten Tomatoes score in the trilogy, sitting at 77%, and plays after Vin Diesel’s Bloodshot this weekend. Aut-O-Rama is waving their customary fee for outside food and beverages temporarily to help maintain social distancing. 33395 Lorain Road, North Ridgeville, 440-327-9595, autoramadrivein.com

Magic City Drive-In
Plenty of films were put on hold and sent straight to demand — now’s your chance to see some of those flicks out in the wild. Magic City offers something for everyone, with Disney features Onward and The Call of the Wild on one screen, and R-rated flicks The Hunt followed by The Invisible Man on the other. 5602 S. Cleveland Massillon Road, Barberton, 330-825-4333, magiccitydrive-in.com

Mayfield Road Drive-In
Get out of this world at the Mayfield Road Drive-In’s 1950s admission nights this Friday and Saturday for $2 a carload with The Vast of the Night and Super 8 playing back-to-back. Or, hold out for The Invisible Man and The Hunt on Sunday. 12100 state Route 322, Chardon, 440-286-7173, funflick.com/mayfield
