Must Do CLE: Be A Local At Downtown Heinen's

Visit the renovated Cleveland Trust building for a study in neoclassicism inside and out — and to pick up a great lunch.

It can never be said that downtown Cleveland has a boring grocery store. In 2015, the Heinen brothers opened what might be the most architecturally significant grocery store in the United States. The renovated Cleveland Trust rotunda is a masterpiece of neoclassicism inside and out, melding Cleveland’s past with its bright future. It’s also a great place to shop, eat and drink to boot. Take your time, lounge on the second-floor balcony to sip a glass of vino from the wine vending machines (yup!) and wonder at the grandeur. heinens.com
