Favorite summer place: The family cottage atCatawba Island. “You can see Put-in-Bay, you can see Rattlesnake Island, you can see all around. We just sit out there [on the private beach] and watch the sun go down. My nieces and nephew come up — they’re 7 years old — and we bring the boom box out, dance on the beach and chill out. It’s a great little vacation spot.”

First summer job: Lifeguard at the Hospitality Inn, Independence.

Favorite summer concert memory: James Taylor at Blossom Music Center. “I can’t even count how many times I’ve seen him there or guess which one was my favorite.”

Summer drink: Cuban mojito.

Favorite outdoors dining spot: Mon Ami Restaurant & Winery, Port Clinton.
