The Other Side of Rock 'n' Rollers
Producer Eddie Kramer had access to megastars such as Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, the Rolling Stones and Santana that others could only dream of. Kramer, while mixing and mastering their tracks, captured the intimate, raucous and raunchy moments that exemplify rock superstardom. And his pictorial diary is on display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum starting Oct. 4.
A 6 p.m. kickoff party ushers in the exhibit on Oct. 4. It's free to Rock Hall members, and nonmembers can attend for $10. Tickets are available through Ticketmaster or by calling (216) 241-5555. Jim Fox and Dale Peters of the James Gang, Michael Stanley and others will provide entertainment at the kickoff event.
Nearly 50 Kramer photographs will be on display through early 2002 in the Rock Hall's Circular Gallery. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame is located at One Key Plaza in Cleveland.
