Reach New Heights On The Valravn

Named after a supernatural wolf-raven hybrid of Danish folklore, Cedar Point’s 2-minute, 23-second Valravn roller coaster isn’t for the faint of stomach. With the world’s highest inversion on a dive coaster at 165 feet and speeds reaching up to 75 mph, the new ride breaks 10 world records making it the world’s fastest, longest and tallest dive coaster. Riders are held at the very edge of the 223-foot-hill for four seconds and then swoop down a gut-dropping 90 degrees. “Because of the way you’ll be angled at the top of the hill, it appears as if there’s no track underneath you,” says project manager Adam Pooch. “It genuinely feels like you’re diving.” 1 Cedar Point Drive, Sandusky, 419-627-2359, cedarpoint.com
