O’Neill and Rosmarin Landscape Design
Honor

O’Neill and Rosmarin Landscape Design of Chagrin Falls used Thailand for inspiration when creating a display garden for the 2005 Cleveland Botanical Garden Flower Show. Playing upon the theme of “The Garden as Art,” the garden features a handmade stone vase made of roof slate, magenta silk pillows, recycled yellow glass and mirrored doorway.
A variety of shade-loving plantings create variations in color and texture, while bamboo frames the garden. A stone water feature along the glass-covered pathway provides soothing sounds. A canvas canopy mimics the boat sails of Thailand and moves with the breeze.
