Cuyahoga Valley Heritage Series Concert

The hammered dulcimer has its roots in medieval Europe, but it's an instrument that folk artists still play today. And Tina Bermann will play it in concert with her husband and double bassist Bryan Thomas at the Happy Days Visitor Center in Cuyahoga Valley National Park on Dec. 15 at 8 p.m.

A kind of harp, the dulcimer can be played with tiny hammers or with picks or fingers. Bergmann, called the "best hammered dulcimer player" by folk legend Pete Seeger will perform holiday, traditional and folk tunes.

Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 3 to 12, and are available the night of the show only. For more information, click to www.dayinthevalley.com.
