The Scarlet Pimpernel

Jan. 1, 1900 | 5:00 AM

A group of British nobles, lead by the Scarlet Pimpernel, sets out to save innocents from the French Revolution's guillotine. What results is an adventurous, comic and dramatic play in which unlikely characters save the day.

The production — starring Cincinnati native Ron Bohmer as the Scarlet Pimpernel — debuted on Broadway in 1997 and received Tony Award nominations for Best Actor, Best Musical and Best Book.
