Dogs of Train Ave
You haven't seen art like Sean Jason Kelly's. It started when the popular tattoo artist found an abandoned dog on the side of the street. Out of respect, he took him to be cremated. Now, he brings awareness to other abandoned animals by painting pictures of the dogs' lives with their ashes mixed into the paint so they aren't forgotten. Funding from his art shows go to the Friends of the Cleveland Kennel. Aug. 26 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Derek Hess Gallery, 1300 West 78th St, 2nd Floor, Cleveland, 216-288-4868, derekhessgallery.com
