Kringle’s Inventionasium Experience is a dream world of sugarplums, holiday spice and everything nice. In its 11th year, the Christmas-infused funhouse lets families adventure through 10 interactive exhibits. Artistic director Jimmy Langa points out some can’t-miss elements of the wacky world tucked inside Tower City Center.

Molecule Mixing

In this holiday laboratory, junior scientists use formulas to create Christmas cheer that can warm even the scroogiest hearts. “Christmas is the time that everyone feels the warm fuzzies,” Langa says. “Mr. Kringle has broken down those feelings into their molecular structures.”

Whatchamacallit Workshop

Acting as Mr. Kringle’s little helpers, kids think outside the gift box to create prototypes for the next hot toy. “You may end up with a robot with dinosaur feet, the ears of a dog — something wacky and unconventional,” Langa says. “My favorite toys come from this room."

Mr. Kringle’s Study

At the end of the hour of inventions and adventures, kids and their parents are treated to private visits with the big man himself. “I would say Mr. Kringle’s Study is the adults’ favorite,” Langa says. “We’ll get adults in tears because they’ve had this
amazing experience.”

When You Go

During the week, the experience is more laid-back while weekends tend to have more energy. For peak Christmas spirit, head to Kringle’s Inventionasium on Christmas Eve from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. inventionasium.com
